You know that age-old stumper. If there’s no one around to hear it, does a falling tree make a sound?

The fact we’re even asking the question, is important. It reminds us to not take ‘objective reality’ or ‘truth’ for granted. To some extent, we all hear what we want to hear and see what we want to see.

Without getting lost in a philosophical conundrum, let’s just try to see someone else’s point of view. Objectivity is a worthwhile goal, while subjectivity adds a lot of richness to life. There’s room for both.
